In order for your panel to be safe and for your house to be safe you have to make sure that your breakers are correct and that they are properly installed. Breakers must match panel manufactures specs. Use of breakers from different manufacturer is considered unsafe.
All electrical circuits must be properly protected with adequate breaker size and type. Code requires dedicated circuits for certain loads. Code require adequate GFCI or AFCI protection for certain areas of your home.
